The subtitle is 'a clear and concise guide to learning crochet' and I couldn't put it better - really easy to see and follow, very clear diagrams, UK terminology (but with a page listing the US equivalents too). Had a marvellous time (with Nancy) at the Craft, Hobby and Stitch International Show at the NEC. Fell in love with lots of things but especially the gorgeous DMC Petra cotton and their new Hoooked Zpagetti (Yes honestly). I have ordered some of the later so I will post pics when it comes!
I also met the crochet designer Nicki Trench who taught me a lovely yet simple square, like a waterlily - I will photograph it and put it on the blog. Great to meet her - she was so nice too!
Well I have now created my website - ok that is a taking it a bit far - but I have built the skeleton of my website and I am now ready to order some stock and start photographing it, then the website will be ready.
I am planning to order some 'extreme' crochet hooks by Rachel John. Here is a pic of her working, taken from her website.
